Sail Date: Oct 2014

Eight of us went on Oct 22-28 cruise from Hong Kong to Singapore. We learned that Diamond Princess went through $30 million refurbishments in early 2014.

This is our 6th cruise on Princess, and one of the best cruise yet in terms of service and dining experience on older Princess ships. From breakfast to lunch and especially Dinner, we felt that the head Chef and his team had put in exceptional attention to details on food quality and offered creative, delicious choices. I must stressed that we are very impressed with Diamond when compared with our past experience.

There was also the new noodle bar, with different daily versions of hot soup ramen and cold soba noodles, which was very popular and quite authentic. The service on this ship in general is also quite exceptional, overall good service/customer orientated attitude can be felt all around on this ship. Our waitress from Romania was out of this world.
