This was my fourth cruise and first time sailing with Princess. I've previously sailed with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Imperial Majesty. We are 30 years old and prefer a quieter crowd. This trip won because of the itinerary which is the single most important factor to us. Aside from a couple annoyances it was a wonderful vacation and I would change little about it.

Embarking - There was a line. We were prepared to wait. It took about an hour to get on the ship.

The ship is gorgeous. I loved the Piazza area with the performers. I did not see the frayed carpets some people have complained about. Maybe they had already been replaced or maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. Honestly though, I don't know why I was looking for flaws except to shake my head at the people complaining about them. Some people just can't go without complaining, which is a shame.

Spacious enough. It's a cruise ship so unless you pay for a suite - and sometimes not even then - you will be in a very small space. The bathroom was bigger than I expected and the balcony was huge. We adored our balcony. We spent hours out there and on the last day we even saw a water spout with a rainbow formed around it.
