After reading some of the reviews on these boards, I felt like I might not be thrilled with this ship. Well... I'm here to say I DO NOT agree with the negative reviews here. I fell in love with this ship quickly. It's easy to navigate and so very clean. It definitely ranks above the Triumph (the last ship I was on) in my heart.

Embarkation…

Having priority boarding, this was a total breeze. I think we were on the ship within 20 minutes of hitting the front door of the terminal. Everyone was very friendly, as always.

Junior Suite

Fabulous! We are balcony snobs, so we had to get a Junior Suite on this ship in order to have a balcony. Although I was not a fan of seeing other cruisers while on our balcony, I liked the barred railing more than the usual glass. I could just kick my feet up on the railing, sit back, and relax. And the balcony was a good size. I believe it used to have mesh dividers (looking at older pictures) but now has the opaque/frosted glass. It looked like the Grand Suites still had the mesh, yuck. This Junior Suite honestly didn’t seem any bigger than a regular balcony room on any other ship, but I went into it expecting exactly what we got. There was no corner life jacket box in this room, like I’ve heard of in other rooms.I didn’t feel like there was as much storage as usual in this room, but we really don’t need all that. That’s more risk of forgetting something on the ship. The bed was comfy as well.My one complaint about the room was the TV. It’s a flat screen TV that was up too high so it made some colors kind of dark. Also, our remote was all sorts of silly. The menu button controlled the volume, mute button went to menu, etc. and I never found out how to, or if we could, check our folio from them TV. There are kiosks around the ship that allow this, however. They also didn’t film and air any of the events onboard, which was unusual.
