We (hubbie, grownup kids and 2 grandchildren) arrived at Honolulu airport 9.30am after long overnight flight from Australia. Checked in at our hotel (right opposite the beach) Waikiki. Absolutely beautiful view from our 13th floor oceanfront balcony. Enjoyed 3 great nights in Waikiki before leaving for our cruise. Arrived at pier to be greeted with lovely fresh flower leis (for the girls) shell leis(for the boys)and a small band playing beautiful hawaiian music. Made us feel very welcome and eager to get on board to start our cruise.

Embarkation wasn't very long and an easy process. Our rooms weren't quite ready so we headed to the aloha cafe to eat. Food was plentiful, fresh and tasty (loved fresh fruit buffet). We tended to eat there most meals as it is buffet style, help yourself, no waiting. When we entered our rooms found fresh choc coated strawberries (yummy, nice touch Pride of America). Our balcony rooms were small but very comfortable especially the large bed. The ship was very impressive, especially the entry foyer. All areas of the ship were clean and accessible either by stair or lifts. The staff were always friendly and when we passed them were greeted with 'aloha'. We ate a Cagneys, La Cucina and Skyline. Food and service good. Skyline service a little slow. Our 8yr.old grandson loved the kids club, video arcade and pools.

We booked tours though ship(very easy). Liked free shuttle buses at most ports for shopping.Disembarkation fast and easy. We booked a tour after the cruise as our flights home were too early and we had to stay an extra night in Waikiki. If you want a great family (something for everyone) holiday- this is the one to do! Thank you to all the crew and our captain for a fantastic holiday.
