My trip started out with priority booking that was unexpected but came along with our suite. The NOLA port was one of the easiest ports to get through. From the time I got to the port which was 10:45 until the time I was on the ship and in my room about 35 minutes. Was in the room by 11:20 and had my luggage by noon. We felt that we were in good hands with our steward Tapa and her assistant Lawrence. They never skipped a beat. The ship never felt like it was overcrowded. There was always a place to lounge in the sun or a spot to eat on lido. Speaking of our dining experience Augustino took very good care of us in the main dining room. Our food was always tasty. The midnight Mexican Buffet was also very good and orderly. The entertainment of this cruise was also very good. In the Atrium we had Chai and Suzette as our excellent bartenders and Carlos Nebot's singing was the best. He played all of my favorite songs and took had no problem with singing requests. Mutzie was our comedian and he and Cruise Director Steve kept us laughing. We also even took the time to enjoy some the activities that we had never done before on our previous 5 cruises. I was also happy to get my ship on the stick before the end of our cruise. Since we were cruising for Halloween I do need to mention that there were some very interesting and fun costumes. We even sat through the costume contest which was a real treat. We ordered the Cheers Program that had recently increased in price, but for us it was well worth it. Didnt hit that 15 drink alcohol limit per day, but on sea days we definitely got close. On the other days we broke even or a little above. We never had any issues but did visit guest services on the first day with a question and Victor was very prompt and courteous in addressing us.

Our ports were Progresso and Cozumel and since we were traveling with another couple decided against excursions. We just wanted to go it on our own. We got massages and shopped in Progresso. We also shopped in Cozumel and hit Margarittavill and Senior Frogs, which was a blast!! This is the smallest of the Carnival ships that we have gone on next to the Fascination, but I must say it was one of our best cruises. Never cruised with so many happy, friendly cruisers and staff!! I would recommend this cruise to first timers and those who are like us and have cruised numerous voyages. It's a perfect fix for a quick getaway till you can make it on that longer cruise. I would actually book this ship again, and I have never been on the same ship twice. A personal goal to get through the entire fleet! Thanks again Carnival for an excellent vacay!

Cabin Review

Cabin OB

My cabin said that the view was obstructed, however I was in between life boats and had an actual really nice view. Our room was clean and our Steward Tapa and her assistant Lawrence were on top of making sure we had everything we needed.
