Having purchased what seemed like a really really great last minute bargain on the P&O Azura, we were really quite chuffed with ourselves, so around a week after purchasing we found ourselves onboard!

First Impressions: Ship is only four years old although there was a certain amount of wear and tear, much more than we have experience on other cruise lines in even older ships. I don't think there is as much emphasis on this ship as keeping on top of maintenance. But we thought we payed little over £800 to be on a balcony for two people - we can live with that!

The Buffet: I really don't think they know what they are doing with the buffet, no matter when you went there were always queues (sometimes 20 deep). They never seemed to open the full servery, there were 6 serving stations and at most they only ever used four of these - sometimes only two! I have never experience such poor service on a buffet - even on a seaday. P&O really need to do something about this - if there are 6 stations, open the 6 stations rather than having passengers waiting in queues 20 deep at peak times.
