Flew into IAH the night before the cruise and took the Royal shuttle to the port and back.Very efficient. They took our bags at IAH and loaded them on the ship

Galveston was not the nightmare some have written about. We were off the shuttle and on board in about 20 minutes.Went to the Windjammer for a snack and went to check on the Diamond club.(more about that later) Navigator is pretty much the same as other ships in its class.

,.As usual, the food was very good, especially the prime rib on night 1.WEWe chose my time dining and ate most nights around 6;00 sometimes with reservations sometimes not (it didnt seem to make a difference we never had to wait for seating)
