Just got back today from fantastic cruise to Western Caribbean on the Carnival Triumph. We booked cruise months ago (basic inside cabin) and were upgraded to ocean view room. 1st Carnival cruise (previous cruises on Royal Crown, Princess, and Norwegian) and this was our nicest room yet! We were on the Riviera Deck (1st floor), but no issues and actually had unobstructed view (unlike Norwegian where all we saw out window was lifeboat). Room stewart met us first day and kept room neat and clean all week.

Food was pretty good (some hits, some misses) and we ate in the London dining room for each dinner, Paris dining room for lunch and breakfast a few times, New York Deli a few times (great pastrami sandwiches), and buffet a few times.

I believe Triumph has 16 bars, but I found most to be closed/empty during the day. Played lots of bingo (lost every game, but it was fun), won trophy for trivia contest, three bottles of champagne for various contests.
