We did a land/cruise tour with friends in August. We flew into Fairbanks and traveled via bus and train to Seward. We loved every minute of the trip. The tour guide and bus driver both were very good. We got on the ship at Seward after a wonderful guided trip around Resurrection Bay including lunch. This was our 4th sailing on Celebrity and we were in a Concierge stateroom. There was a very noticeable change in the quality of the stateroom service, the quality and diversification of the theater shows, and the dining room food.

We did not see our stateroom attendant until we sought him out the second day to ask that a bucket of ice be brought to our room. We had to seek him out a couple more times as well as he never made the effort to check in with us as the attendants have done on previous cruises. The cabin was cleaned but we had to ask for the shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotions as they were not provided and we do use them.

In the past Celebrity has produced some incredible theater shows; topnotch performers. On this cruise 4 of the 7 nights were the "Celebrity" singers/dancers doing basically the same thing only in different costumes and different music. They were good, but we had hoped for more variety. There was an outstanding comedian - clean and funny as well as a very good juggler.
