My wife and I have just returned from a fabulous cruise on Celebrity Eclipse to the Azores and Canary Islands and I felt I had to document our opinions on the cruise. Before we sailed I read on Trip Advisor from some people who were very critical of various aspects of the cruise eg food and catering stating that the food was average and the entertainment was awful. Were they in the same ship as my wife and I? I cannot believe that anyone could find the food to be poor. I cannot believe that anyone could find the entertainment poor. I must say that the food was first class, of excellent quality and in our case served in the Moonlight Sonata by the mostt charming and delightful people. Our wine waiter was helpful and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. As far as the entertainment was concerned, there was something for everyone to choose from musicals, magicians, comedians, classical and showtime.Anyone who could not find something to enjoy needs to give up cruising. In addition to the theatre shows, we enjoyed some excellent talks ranging from how the ship is navigated to excellent presentations by Paul Horrocks ,the former Editor of the Manchester Evening News( whose talks were packed out)

Celebrity Cruises are first class and I would recommend Celebrity Cruises to everyone.
