Firtst let me just tell you about our cruising past. We , me and my husband both in our early 30s, have been on atleast 10 princess cruises, about 8 carnival cruises, and 2 rcl, not all of them to carribean. This however is our first ncl cruise.
Embarkation was a breeze, we got to port around 10:45 and waited about 15 minutes before they started the security check. After that it was so quick through the health questionnaire and checking in. We got our photo taken and sat in the waiting area were ncl had coffee, juice and water while we waited. We then boarded at about 11:30.
The ship itself is beautiful, clean, with so much to see. If you want to do the the vibe beach club that is one thing you have to purchase right away as they only sell 60 all week passes, but dont do what we do by going straight to the vibe to book, you have to go to guest services to get the pass. But it was well worth the money. We had the buffet for lunch, it was tasty, better then carnival, especially the desserts they actually tasted like a decadent dessert.
