Our river cruise was all we anticipated and more. Our initial stay in Amsterdam allowed us to see a beautiful city with its canals and friendly people. The staff aboard the ship was friendly, accommodating, and full of both information and fun. Each stop along the way provided an opportunity to meet efficient, informative tour guides who were proud to share their hometowns with us. Not one of them sunk to being merely average.

Umbrellas were provided when it rained; water was provided to keep us hydrated and optional opportunities allowed us to visit home of average people, hear concerts in luxurious palaces, and see the marvelous horses of Hungary. The food was plentiful and delicious. The accommodations on the Idi were so appealing that we have scheduled a river cruise in France for the upcoming year (2015.) We have recommended Viking to friends and we know at least seven of them intend to schedule a rivercruise within the near future. Indeed the memories and photos which we took during our meanderings will continue to be revisited frequently by us. Thanks for the memories.
