I found that the Viking staff were exceptional given the needs of the guests. They dealt with issues in a very professional and caring manner since there were several medical issues during the excursion.
The tours that were set up were exceptional and the guides both informative an entertaining.
However, there needs to be some effort made to make solo travellers made to feel that they are more welcome. I would suggest that perhaps a meet and greet session be held. The cost of travelling solo is also a discouragement from taking further trips. I can appreciate the economics behind it but my costs were either identical or exceeded those who were travelling as a couple.
Cabin Review
The room was superior and actually larger than I thought it would be. Housekeeping services provided were excellent and the staff very polite and easy to talk to.My room was closest to the engine room - which at times could be a little noisy.
