I was surprised in many ways when I boarded this ship. I have been on cruises with other cruise lines and had some expectations for this short cruise. The ship is old, and she is showing her age. The floor was warped in areas, and other areas were worn. The cabin was the smallest cabin I have been in, and the first without a refrigerator. It is really only large enough to sleep in. The ship lacks some of the amenities of other ships, such as nicer soaps and shampoo. Instead the shower is similar to a locker room with a soap dispenser. The food quality is not as high as with other ships. There were items that the waiter steered us away from and if those were ordered, they were quite bad. Items that are assumed to be on a cruise menu such as steak are only offered for an extra fee. The main course on the plates were small, with a start he taking over most of the plate. The service was lacking. My room was not cleaned one day, and when I paid for wireless that did not work..so I could get my boarding pass...I received a shrug. Having said this...if your goal is a quick getaway at a very cheap price, you might enjoy this cruise. For me, I will pay more for a different cruise line for better service, food, and cabins.
