Sail Date: Sep 2014

There were four of us. All frequent world travelers and cruisers. We left on the Millennium from Tokyo on Sept. 28 for l4 days. What a fantastic crew on a great medium size ship. We have sailed on all the Solstice ships which are newer and larger but the Millennium is a charmer. The food was excellent; the service was wonderful and we had a great time. There was every kind of food imaginable in the buffet and it was well presented. We were in aqua class, which was terrific; but we did eat in the main dining room quite a bit for lunch and a few dinners for variety and enjoyed the food and service very much. Quisine is the craziest restaurant experience and just loads of fun with all unexpected unusual foods served in wacky ways. We laughed our way through dinner there and all enjoyed it. Don't go if you are a stiff.

The martini bar, CRUSH, is another fun stop. If you order 3 or more martinis they shake and pour them all together in showman fashion which is something to see. The only fault of all Celebrity Ships is that they don't provide much information on how to get from the port to the main city of interest unless you take their expensive excursions. More information on how to get to the cities yourself or reasonable shuttle service would be appreciated. If you are not an experienced traveler, I suggest you take the excursions in Asia or elsewhere unless you can read their language. if you can't have a good time on a cruise, check your attitude.

Cabin Review

Just your typical cabin with lots of storage and very clean with excellent stewards. Nice deck level with close flight of steps to buffet deck just below.
