I had to write about my experience on Norwegian Getaway. I'm not normally one to post negative reviews but I wish more people had told me the truth about this cruise before I wasted my money. Also side note I'm in my 20s and hubby is in 30s. So I had several things I really disliked about the cruise...some were just my own pet peeves and some are just terrible for any cruise line. I have to say that I normally go Royal Caribbean so maybe I'm just spoiled but I'm never cruising any other way from here on out:

1. I'm starting with my own pet peeves - The ship rocked waaaay too much. I'm not sure what the issue was with that but if you are at all sensitive to motion this cruise was not for you

2. Food was not good at ALL - I had read previously that there was no changing to the menu and that the food seemed repetitive...what they didn't say was that the food was repeating everywhere the whole cruise. Example, chili beans from buffet obviously used to make the special "empenadas" in the dining room the next day for dinner. The breakfast menu never changes, neither does the buffet. ALSO HUGE WARNING!! There is no longer a lobster night on this cruise. They have a "seafood" night in the buffet with no lobster tails only pasta dishes with small pieces of lobster mixed in. The seafood dishes were also so FISHY it was disgusting. Upside desert for several nights was delicious.
