My wife and I booked an 8-day cruise to the Southern Caribbean from Oct 11-19, 2014. This was my wife’s and my 15th and 14th cruises respectively, our seventh on Carnival, and our first on the Carnival Breeze.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Typical balcony cabin size-wise. This is far forward, and directly underneath the bridge so we did not have a functioning light on the balcony and we had to keep the cabin curtains closed in the evening if our cabin lights were on, so to preserve the bridge staff's night vision. Although we were just one deck above the Ovation Theater, we were far enough forward that we could not hear the music in our cabin -- we must have been behind the backstage area.Overall the cabin was comfortable and convenient for our purposes.
