Before our cruise we requested an upgrade which we were prepared to pay for but travel agent told us we would be advised once on board whether we could upgrade or not. Nobody came to speak to us, nothing said on check in either. Check-in and boarding was easy. Cabin ready by 3pm and luggage arrived quickly.
First night in cabin...NOISY ! Sounded like the engines AND our bed vibrated a lot ! I went the following day to request that upgrade and was told ship was full. Yachr Club was an extra $ 100 per day. Decided to stay in our cabin. AIrconditioning in cabin and all over ship was FREEZING ! My husband started getting sick and ended up with Bronchitis in week 2. Noisy cabin the entire two weeks. The luggage collection on last night was extremely noisy too ! Housekeeping steward was great. I sent clothes to laundry. A pair of my shorts went in as a size 10 and came back a size 14 and faded blue. These are not my shorts. Definitely got mixed up in the laundry. I realized too late to complain. Entertainment generally good except the shows were the same on both weeks.
BIGGEST COMPLAINT......rude, arrogant bar staff all over ship. We had three incidents where we were overcharged and the wrong drinks delivered to us. when pointing this out, we were glared at, one waitress told my hubby that he DID order a daiquiri and that she could not change it. English is a HUGE problem. Bar staff even ignored us when we were the only two people standing at the bar ! Bar service on pool deck virtually non existent. Had anniversary brunch in Galaxy restaurant. Oysters gave us upset stomachs.
Noisy noisy noisy. Bed vibrates with the noise. Shower too small. No towel animals ????? Bed bugs or sand fleas. I had new bites every day on back and legs.
