My husband and I had a wonderful time on the Carnival Valor. I was a little nervous at first, because five years ago I travelled on the Valor, and between a nagging toothache and seasickness, I was afraid something would happen on this voyage. But all went well. We were on the eighth deck, a balcony and the room was fine. I would have liked conditioner in the shower along with the shampoo and bath gel, like I had on another cruise, and an umbrella would have been great for those super hot and humid days, but really the cruise was wonderful.

The food on the Lido deck, if you are not fussy, you can find something to your taste. We ate breakfast and dinner in the main diningroom and my husband and I had plenty of choices. He is more a veggie person than I and he was able to find choices, especially eggplant! Everyone on the cruise from the cabin help to the Captain was very helpful. I enjoyed meeting many of the crew and guessing their country of origin, it makes for a more interesting voyage. Our friends from Conn. surprised us and met us on the trip. They are a very special couple! The comedy shows were funny and of course there is the casino. The entertainment staff did a fine job. The ports of call were the best! I can not even tell you my favorite, as each port had their own special feel to it! Lots to see and do!
