We have, 4 adults, have traveled together for over 40 years. We were disappointed in our balcony cabin as it was tired-dated bedding, decor, tile cracked in bathroom but good storage. Day one we rented a bungalow in the Sanctuary. Too far to walk so they changed to bungalow. Day went well although island could use some landscaping. Tram never came to pick us up so we walked halfway and a waitress got their attention. Cruise diverted from Eastern Caribbean to Western Caribbean due to hurricane winds. Our safety was primary and this was disappointing but the right decision. That evening three of four started itching, and two had over 100 dots all over their legs and torso. After a night of little sleep two of the party visited ships doctor who proceeded to say this problem presented itself previous week also with folks coming in again and maybe Princess should spray the island. These bites got worse before better and we all still have these souvenirs of our vacation. An expensive problem but no one followed up or called. Food was good and menu presented options, Horizon Court buffet was very good but refurbishing must not have included decor. All staff were great but overworked where they had little time to share their story. Ocho Rios chairlift excursion over rainforest was fun and hot. Red Stripe at the top with infinity pool was a welcome refreshment after arrival. Never got off at Grand Cayman (5 ships in port made a small island overcrowded and there was no desire to see Cozumel. Enjoyed no crowds at pools. Embark and Disembark was unpleasant, facility old and lack of wheelchairs caused unnecessary delay. A good break for two who finished a major remodel and two new retirees.
I love balcony cabins. Room was efficient, plenty of storage, loved closet but no sofa was the trade off. Tired decor. Cracked tile in bath, needed regrouting. Liked shower curtain but a little color would have made surroundings warmer.
