We arrived at Tilbury and the cruise terminal was busy, but the embarkation process was basically orderly, but not as smooth as it might be. The boarding was by numbered groups, and some people blocked queues anticipating their own numbers.
Once on board everything calmed down, and our luggage was ready for us at our cabin. The cabin on the Pacific Deck was smallish, but comfortable, and did provide all the basics we needed.
Dinner in the Waldorf Restaurant was good, the service excellent and the maitre d' a true professional. He had a friendly nature with a sense of humour, and made the mealtime a real pleasure. Breakfast in the Waldorf is buffet style, and a bit crowded, so we had breakfast in the open dining Marco's on the second day. The selection was good and the food of a good quality.
