My husband and I are long time cruisers and had already been to Cabo. So we just wanted to cruise and didn't really care about the destinations. We also knew in advance that the passengers would be age 50+. We were alright with that because we are also 50+, but..... the ages of the passengers were more like 65+. There were lots of wheelchairs, canes, and walkers. At first it felt like being in a retirement home, but we adjusted our attitude.
We had a large veranda room, ship was comfy, service was great! The only downside were the activities. We had 1 day at sea going down the coast and 2 days coming back, but there was not enough to do. They had basic trivia games, bingo, card room, and a casino. With a total of 3 days at sea, it would have been great to have more variety of activities. I would suggest more games like family feud, or wheel of fortune. These kinds of games can be played by everyone
Oh I forgot the other downside was internet access. Access was so slow that it should have been free. My husband had to work and was constantly frustrated with paying for time spent waiting for internet response. They did refund some of his money, but that did not really resolve the problem. Until they can improve access, they should provide access for free.
The ship is a bit dated. No electrical outlets in the bathroom, and not enough outlets in the cabin. The main entertainment space, Vista Lounge, has rows of bench seats that are generally comfortable, but they should be individual seats. Additionally, most of the seats do not have tables for placing drinks. But the ship has been well maintained and is comfortable.
