Just returned from a great week on the Carnival Freedom. This was our 2nd cruise with Carnival and enjoyed the Freedom very much. The Cruise Director- Jen was great and led lots of fun events throughout the cruise. She was very personable, visible, and interacted a lot with the guests. We also participated in the Dive-in Movies, Family Comedy Night, saw several shows in the main Lounge, and Family Game Night (my 11 year old son was even chosen as a contestant).

Our ports of call were great and our day at sea was relaxing.

We enjoyed dinner in the Chic Restaurant for 3 of the evenings. Food was good- although at times it seemed we were waiting too long between each course. The other 2 evenings we just ate in the Lido Buffet- which was also very good (especially for breakfast). I thought Guy's Burger Joint was over-rated- too greasy. Overall, we were very pleased on the Freedom and would recommend. The ship was very nice and well kept. All the crew we interacted with were cordial and nice. We enjoyed things so much that we didn't want to leave the ship!

We were pleased on the location- was near the back elevators and quiet. Now when the ship started rocking due to a nearby storm, we did here some creaking in the walls/ceiling that woke us up. But other than that, we slept very well each of the other nights. A very cozy and comfortable room.
