My husband and I sailed on the Norwegian Jade from Venice to Greece on October 3rd. The trip was wonderful in every way, with the exception of Jade's specialty restaurants.
We had purchased a package that had allowed us to upgrade to 7 nights of dining in the Jade's specialty restaurants for $119. This price seemed like a bargain, considering that the package included the Steakhouse and French restaurant. There was also the Brazilian steakhouse, Teppanyaki grill, Chinese, and Italian restaurants to choose from.
First, the good news. The Teppanyaki Grill was very good. The food was prepared before your eyes, and it was of the highest quality. I would strongly recommend this restaurant as it was tasty and a good value overall. The chefs have been hired directly from Benihanas, so if you like their food and atmosphere, you will like the Teppanyaki on the Jade.
The stateroom was kept perfectly clean by our steward, June. This cabin is in a great location, as it is the last cabin on the starboard side, towards the aft. Very quiet, as there is only one cabin adjacent to it and essentially nobody passing by the door. Although in the aft, there was no movement to speak of, even in Gale Force 8 winds!
