This was our fourth cruise on Radiance, and the ship is lovely as ever. Embarkation and disembarkation were as smooth as could be, and the service was up to the usual excellent standard we have come to expect on RCL. Any problem we experienced was attended to immediately (they were only very minor.)

Food in the Windjammer where we ate breakfast and lunch each day was of an excellent standard, with lots of variety. The main dining room also had a varied menu, and there were only a couple of misses over the entire 18 nights we ate there. We had wonderful service from our waitstaff. We heard reports that the specialty dining was fantastic but felt no need to attend other restaurants.

There were 2 lots of 5 sea days in a row on this cruise and we felt that the planning of daytime activities did not sufficiently take this fact into consideration as lots of passengers complained of being bored during those days. Entertainment at night was generally of a high standard though.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

The junior suite was spacious, and worked well for 3 older adults. It had a sofa bed ( made up to be very comfortable by our stateroom attendant.) The bathroom had a bath, and there was a walk-in wardrobe which doubled as a change room for us. It was all in very good condition, furniture seeming to be recently upholstered, and the carpet in good condition. We enjoyed it very much.
