We found noise to be the biggest problem with the cruise. With 5500 people on the ship, and music in all the public areas there was no comfortable place to escape to; except ones' cabin I suppose .

The quality of meals was passable, certainly no better than any of the meals experienced with other cruise lines. At formal evenings the dress code was not enforced. In fact the Company made it clear that formal dress was only a suggestion. The volume of the background music at dinner seemed variable so that at times it was difficult to hear when talking with friends. And bottle of wine at dinner cost 45 to 50 dollars, i.e £27 to £30.

Royal Caribbean International, without giving a reason, confiscate for the length of the cruise any alcohol passengers take on board.

The Cabin was satisfactory and the steward was very good but then we found all the ships crew to be excellent -we think the problems might stem from the ships owners
