I booked this cruise as my girlfriend's birthday gift in January of 2014 based on a couple of reasons.
1st reason was the 123 go option that enabled us to enjoy the classic beverage package for two plus a minimal onboard credit.
2nd was the hansgrohe massaging shower head that is advertised on both the Celebrity website and in one of their catalogues. Shortly after booking the cruise I received an email from the travel agent that there would be a hand held shower head in the room.
This room was just big enough for two people for a 12 day cruise. I would hate to have had to share this room with 3 others as the room is designed for (hideaway bed with couch). The balcony was great. The balcony was much larger than the standard C category rooms due to its location and it was fully covered as was every other room on the side of the ship (at least the higher floors). This balcony was 1000% better than the piece of crap that we had on the Royal Princess last year. We had an aft balcony room that was completely exposed and unusable due to the daily deposits of soot. We had room # 2152 on the Celebrity Solstice in 2010 that was perfect as it had about an 80% coverage of the balcony. The only problem with our room was the room steward. we rarely saw him. We saw more of the steward that was tending rooms on a different section. Should have requested him instead of the one we had.
