After spending 14 nights on the Millennium I cannot understand the recent negative reviews. Either some people are very unlucky or they have a serious attitude problem because the ship and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I was a little hesitant about "downgrading" to an M-class ship after our previous S-class experience but I needn't have worried. The ship is in great condition and has a great feel to it. If you look for the imperfections you will find them but who has time to do that?

We sailed Aqua class and found the service and food in Blu to be fantastic. Our cabin on deck 11 was kept spotlessly clean and in a great location (except when we had to make the long trek to the theatre).

Poor value shore excursions are my biggest cruise bug-bear but I have nothing but praise for the ones we did on this cruise. Our overnight Beijing tour was fantastic (with the one black mark being the unnecessary visit to the jade factory). I heard some grumblings from people who took the Seoul excursion which turned out to be 90% shopping but the 4 tours we did were all fantastic.
