1. Airport check-in at MIA means you can board just behind those with priority.
2. If you want to go to Lido to eat on embarkation day, get there early before everyone else gets on board, or wait until after things clear out some.
3. A surpringly quiet place to be is Impressionist Boulevard - at least in the mornings and afternoons. Yes, people will stroll by all the time, and there's a little background noise from the arcade, casino, and possibly the atrium, but those are easy enough to block out. Evenings the photographers, bands, and cruise director staff take over and it's no good for quiet contemplation.
The cabin was familiar and comfortable. Lots of space (for a ship's cabin) and plenty of places for storage. The room was a little warm all week. The shower was a little cooler than I preferred. My steward took care of the room well, when I let him.
