Sail Date: Sep 2014

We decided to try Wind Star after being on two previous cruises. Those cruises were with two other companies and involved ships with 3,000 and 2,000 passengers.

Having noted some negative reviews of the rushed renovation job on the Star Pride, we wondered what the ship would be like. We did the Venetian Passageways (September 2014 - Piraeus to Venice).

We loved the cruise and the yacht. We are sold on smaller vessels (Star Pride has 212 passengers). Sure, the yacht is over 25 years old and has a "used" look but that didn't detract from the experience.

Cabin Review

Cabin Luxury

The suite was of a good size. It was quiet at night. It is situated on deck 5 and is conveniently located to lounges and access to the tenders. The suite had two halves: the bedroom/ bathroom/ and walk-in wardrobe and then the lounge area with a table and fridge. The suite could be divided by a curtain to give privacy for the bedroom if required.
