I loved the itinerary for this trip but there were so many things that went wrong. When I arrived in Boston at Logan there was a lady waiting for me. I had bought transfers through NCL from airport to ship and ship to airport. I asked her if she could help with my luggage, since I have had 3 surgeries about 4 months ago, she said no. I asked her to get a porter for me and she said no. I waited over 50 minutes for the van to arrive with her telling me this has never happened before they run every 15 minutes. Got to the port and easy to get onboard ship.

The food was mediocre in the Aqua and Venetian but the specialty restaurants that you pay extra to go into were excellent. Most of the staff were very nice and pleasing to talk with. The shows were okay and nothing more than that.

We had several ports where it took hours to get off the ship because of tendering and left only about 4 hours to enjoy your excursion, Bar Harbor was one of those. Did not get to see much of it.

Cabin Review

Inside

When I got to my cabin there were 10 toenails on the floor of my bathroom, called housekeeping, said they would be right up. Came back about 2 hours later and no cleaning had been done, called again, said they would be right up. I went to the casino and came back around 10 p.m. and still no cleaning, called again and they came right up. I explained that I wanted the bathroom cleaned and sanitized but she didn't bring any products so all she did was pick up the toenails. I called Guest Services and they said tomorrow they would clean and sanitize the whole room. When I woke up the next morning I had 10 bite marks on each foot, again called the front desk, they came and replaced the mattress, bedding and sprayed everywhere. When they pulled the mattress up I saw pin head size black specks, they thought it might be bed bugs, was told passengers some times bring them on with them. GREAT!!! The carpeting was ripped in several places, the bathroom tiles was chipped, broken or cracked with pieces of tile missing. The small shower was chipped and not very clean.
