This was me and Hubby's 1st cruise.. WOW, We had so much fun.. We looked into a couple other cruise lines and decided this one was most affordable to us.. We chose a balcony because I am claustrophobic. I have to be able to get outside quickly.. And I don't sleep much , so I spent much time on Balcony. The room was perfect.. Plenty of room for our stuff (put suitcases under the bed). The crew was Amazing. Our Room Steward Alex was so good to us.. We laughed with him often. Although I knew he had many rooms to attend, he never let on and always made time to chit chat with me and ask if I needed more than he already supplied. . So friendly and accommodating.. I was completely delighted at Dinner, The waitstaff was funny, flattering and attentive.. I couldn't even tell you what we ate (Accept for the chocolate melting cake OMG!!). Our waiter made me feel like I was the ONLY diner there :-) A lot of people say the ship is rundown and maybe it is, But we thought is was beautiful. My only regret was not getting to meet the Captain.. My Ultimate cruise would include chilling with the captain and viewing the inner works of the ship.. This cruise set the tone for a Halloween cruise in 2013.. Me and Hubby took our 4 kids on that one.. Just as much fun then as well.. Maybe More :-).. We are now booked on the Triumph NOV 17.. Just me and Hubby to Celebrate our 15 year Wedding Anniversary :-) So Excited.. If I could just do without the Balcony and stay in an inside room we could afford to do it more than once per year. :-p
