This was my 25th cruise and 8th with Carnival. Just returned from a 7 night cruise on the Carnival Glory and this was by far the worst cruise I have ever experienced. I have medical needs and medical needs letters were sent before went set sail and given to the restaurant when I arrived as instructed which explained what I could eat. My diet were not followed, the restaurant only gave me the option to pay $20 per day more and get meat from the steakhouse. The American Table plan is so limited, our table of eight joked that this was the only cruise that we have been on to lose weight and I have never ate so many hamburgers (for Guy's Burger Joint) in one week than I have in the last year. The late night buffet has the same hot dog w/chili, bad ham and cheese sandwiches and tough chicken sandwiches every night no change in menu in 7 nights. Almost no entertainment, comedians were below average and the only highlight was the piano bar entertainment. We did not even get good cabin service. Th e room steward only came at night, never during daylight hours. Also, no towel animals and only a few nights did I get the chocolates on the pillow (well never of the pillow, but on the end of the bed or in the bathroom). I hope this is just the Glory and not a reflection of all of the Carnival line. My niece took the same cruise 2 weeks before me and had the same experience (did not tell me she had a bad time until I returned).

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Cabin very loud. Door to front of ship right outside the door and it tends to be very busy at dawn and during the midnight hours when trying to get some sleep. Also people liked to stand around the desk outside the door and shout to each other.
