This was the first cruise for me and my bf. We chose the cruise over a week in Panama bc the price was a steal.

We flew to Miami and caught the shuttle. We had to wait an hr for it even tho we were told it would be 15 mins. The ride was nice. It was our first time in Miami so we enjoyed the glimpse of the city. It took no more than 20 mins to get to the port. Going thru customs was a breeze. My only gripe here is that we had an option to carry our luggage with us onboard, or let it be delivered and pay a tip. Once we boarded the ship, we waited no more than an hour before our room was ready to be checked in. Our luggage was not delivered until 8 pm that night, when we could have held it for that hour and got comfortable sooner. Next time we will carry our luggage onboard. Also, I brought some sour gummies as a snack, and when I opened my luggage, the staff/ whoever checked our luggage had opened my candy and ate some. I did not appreciate that, tho my man was amused. Go through your belongings and check everything one you get situated in your room! We had an ocean view room which was small but cozy enough to be comfortable and was kept clean the entire cruise. Room service was great and friendly. I caught one of them flirting with a guest! Lol The room had a bar, blow dryer and safe. It was nice overall.

We booked excursions and made most of the three days, eating at the fish market, touring, sailing and just enjoying what the ports had to offer. My gripe here is that once we got to the fish market, Twin Brothers was packed so we went to Frankie Bananas on the end of the strip. I ordered jerk chicken but was served BBQ. I complained but ate it bc it was past time to head back to the ship and we had to go. If time was on our side, that bbq would have went back.....and it was good, but its bbq. We know how that tastes. Watch your orders when you go to the fish fry. They are sneaky with serving you anything. Read more
