My husband and I left out of Jacksonville Florida, which is fairly close yo our house so we could drive. This was my 5th cruise and I booked it for my husband's bday, this was his 1st. We boarded the ship it was clean and all the employees were friendly of course we brought our 2 bottles of wine I also brought a twelve pack of soda. I booked a porthole window room. The room was very nice no mini fridge but we can't complain the price was right. We sailed out it was still day time and we hung out by the pool. Later on after dinner my husband and I decided to partake in the couples dancing class which was given by one of the ships broadway style actors, it was very fun, we learned the salsa. The next day our first port was Freeport, Bahamas. When you get off the boat you are in the industrial part of Freeport there is still of course a Senior Frogs, but you will need 10.00 to take a taxi van to the beach at Freeport that amt does take care of you return. It's about a 15-20 min ride not much to see on the ride but you arrive at a beautiful beach and shopping area there is food as well. We didn't do any excursions just walked around and enjoyed the view and shopping I seen someone parasailing they were so high in the air. After we got our feel we stood by where the taxis were picking up people and caught our taxi to the ship. We got back to the ship and of course hit Senior Frogs before it is a fairly small one but fun.

That night was formal night we had our time dining which is very convenient, we met a couple at dinner and all checked out the show Music City it was pretty good. The next day the couple and us headed out together to see Nassau, Bahamas neither of us had booked excursions. I wanted to go see Atlantis in Paradise Island, I have been to Nassau a few times, we decided to catch the ferry to paradise island. As soon as you go threw customs you will see a counter to your left head there to catch the ferry for 6.00 there and back Best Deal!! They give you a little tour as your going over the water, it is very nice. We got to Paradise Island and there is a walk to get to the beach and to Atlantis about a mile to the beach we stayed on the beach for a while, we found a coconut rum stand that gave you an actual coconut you could fill up with rum punch unlimited for 20.00 and for 5 more you can rent a lounge chair for the day. The punches were all delicious many to chose from. We headed up the beach on our way to Atlantis, I had read that you had to pay yo tour different parts of Atlantis and we were ready to do that but we walked up from the beach and never paid a dime. Atlantis is beautiful areas are restricted there for guest only but we where able to walk around and see the aquarium and casino. I absolutely loved Atlantis. After a while we headed back to the ferry and came back to Nassau the ferry ride is about 15 minutes we sat on top and got a tour from the cutest 8 yr old, he was mimicking his father which was the deck below. After we got off the ferry we headed to do some shopping, very crowded and watch out for the uneven pavement I almost sprang my ankle. A lot of haggling going on, then of course we hit the Senior Frogs. We had a blast people watching and conga lining. We stumbled back on the ship. The next day was our at sea day we enjoyed it by the pool, then meet up with friends we made and ate dinner and went yo the dance club. I also enjoyed the ships singer he was very good. We got back to port the next day we chose to put our luggage out and wait to be called but you can carry your own and get off the boat first it's up to you. My husband loved his first cruise and we have booked another with Carnival leaving out of San Juan, Puerto Rico this time. We love The Fun Ship!!
