Good morning fellow cruise addicts, I returned yesterday from a 10 night cruise to NE/Canada on the Legend. I promised to give a review of the ship so here goes. I booked this cruise last Nov and was leery due to the fact that we do prefer the larger ships and I had read reviews saying negative things about the ship, the food, the clientele and the service. I wanted that itinerary so we decided to go anyway. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!. The ship looks great. We did see a couple of problems (broken window shade in dining room and rust on balcony railing) but both were fixed by day 3. The service was the same wow service we all love on RCCL. Topi was our cruise director and he is awesome. The food was great in the dining room and Chops was superior. The Windjammer was the only venue I found lacking. The passengers were an older crowd (only 2 children on the cruise) and I figured it was going to be a subdued trip. Not at all. The centrum has been redone to accommodate great entertainment day and night. The ship was rocking and rolling! The disco party, the 50's and 60's party and the aerialists that took place in the centrum were amazing. As for the nightly entertainment, when we read the description in the Compass, we were not impressed. We made sure to sit toward the back on an aisle in order to sneak out. Never snuck out. The entertainment each night was wonderful. If you have a cruise or are contemplating one on the Legend, rest assured you will not be disappointed.
