We cruised for the first time last year on the Solstice and had such a wonderful time decided to choose Celebrity again. Our second cruise was a pleasant experience, but we have not retuned home with the same enthusiasm.

Equinox is a beautiful ship and meticulously maintained. Having been on the Solstice we quickly found our way around as the ships are identical, but this also led to a sense of déjà vu. The decor is tasteful throughout, particularly the theatre, dining rooms and even the shopping areas. The grass is a rather impractical novelty in a space that could be better utilised.

We chose Equinox because of the interesting itinerary which lived up to our expectations. All of our shore excursions were organised privately. This was due to the the high cost of the ship excursions and because we prefer to travel with small groups.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

Negatives - little overhang means no privacy from people looking down from the Oceanview Bar. Drink was spilt on us from a glass held over the edge at sail away. Noise around 6.00am each morning as chairs were moved around.Positives -The best view from the ship, with a large balcony.Would not book this cabin again.
