Cabin: Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

We were so excited to sail on Norwegian's brand new Getaway and experience the latest in cruising as it has been 6 years since 3 of us last cruised and we had one new cruiser with us.

The Good:

• The ship is sparkling clean and is simply beautiful.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

Cabin M6

The Good: If you can manage it go for the large balcony. This was the best surprise of our cruise as the large balcony accommodates 2 lounge chairs, 2 seating chairs and a small table. This was our go to spot for viewing ocean sunsets and socializing while awaiting our turn in the shower. The bathroon is large enough for two to make use of the sinks at the same time. Plenty of bathroom storage. The not so good: The lay out of the cabin is a bit 'wonky', while there is sleeping space for 4 there is room for only 2 suitcases to be stored out of the way (under the bed). We got creative with storage, however we still had to move suitcases to get to the closet, side table, etc. The walkway to the balcony is very narrow and if any one leaves any one thing there you cannot pass. The Great: We had the best room steward (Natalie) I've had on any cruise ever, and we were admittedly messy. Natalie was friendly, punctual and very good at tidying our junk without disposing of anything we wanted to keep. She is a treasure.
