I would not suggest this ship to others. I have been on cruises not a picky person very easy going but this was my 4 daughters 1st cruise and I was very excited for them. I had never cruised with NCL before but it had so many kid friendly activities (or so I thought) I had to book with them, WORST mistake and WORST experience ever. I walked into two extremely dirty rooms and when I mean dirty I mean hair all over the carpet, terrible smell of cigarette smoke in one room, broken toilet paper holder, seed on the bathroom counter, broken hanger on the floor in the closet, broken plastic piece in the closet, dead bug in my daughters bed, yellow stain (urine) on my sheets, white?? something (use imagination) on the green bed decorative cover that came off with water (gross) and a dirty shower. I took pictures of everything and called for a manager. He did come and said he would have the room cleaned. He also called the bug maintenance man who said "its ok its not a bed bug" but at that point I could care less it was a bug!!

I also went to the front desk who said they were full and I let them know I was not trying to move I wanted clean rooms. We had to take everything out of the room and let them clean again. When we returned it was cleaner but not clean. The most upsetting part of the ship was that when we attempted to get into the main pool I was told that it was for adults only. I was showed a man made laminated sign stuck up with tape saying adult only. I was very mad and went back to the front desk. I told them that I didn't spend all of this money for my kids to have nowhere to swim. I told them the website shows 3 water areas.....H2O which stated Adults 18 and over, the kid section with pool 3 feet, and the main pool that is shown with kids in it never saying adult only. She told me "yes we have had several complaints and have made corporate aware". I told her to show me where on the website it says adult only, she said it doesn't and again it had changed a few months ago after a child drowned in the pool. Also the part that makes the least sense is that the kids are allowed in the hot tubs which is not healthy. She told me that my children could enjoy the kid pool I told her sure my 10, 14, 14 and 17 year olds will love that. This is really false advertisement on their end.

The customer service was very poor. If you asked any crew a question the normal answer was "I don't know". Food was good and if you could get a spot at any entertainment you were lucky. This ship was not designed for 4200 people. It gets so crowded that all we did was hunt for chairs stand in line for food, wait for room in the restaurants. I will be going back to Royal Caribbean. Have a fun time wasting your money and don't take the kids if you want them to have fun!! Next time we will go back to RC.
