Last cruised on RCCL on the Song of America. Have sailed since on other cruise lines. Overall this cruise ship is just average. It appears that RCCl has cut back in many areas and it shows. The ship is clean and our cabin was well taken care of. No amenities provided in cabin, not in bathroom, no ice bucket or ice, no robes, nothing except high priced mini refrigerator with water, soda, and snacks. Dining is at best average. Quality of food was good - served hot - might even have been excellent. Our dining room service was the poorest we have ever experienced on a cruise. No bar/wine service waiter, our waiter was not interested in selling because no effort was made on his part. Service extremely slow and inconsistent. Issue with wine order handled with a total no service attitude. Waiter's solution over ruled by floor supervisor who had ZERO customer service skills. Buffet was good for the most part. Did not try any of the specialty restaurants. We had My Time Dining. Worked OK for us with our reservation. Many passengers did not understand how My Time Dining worked and were not pleased when they couldn't eat at Their Time.

Ships entertainment in main theater not very good. One show with a comic was excellent. Music in ships venues was better that ships band. Itinerary was good. Ports were all nice and interesting. Ship not just sharp and crisp in operation. Nothing to rate ship poor but nothing special to rate ship anything other than average. Next cruise will not be on RCCL.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

Cabin small but adequate. Everything worked. Well maintained. Clean and serviced regularly. Quiet with no outside noise from hall or lobby area.
