The cruise was excellent and our stateroom accommodation was excellent. We upgraded to Concierge Class but I'm not what we got for our money.as all the staterooms are the same size apart from the suites. Perhaps the bottle of champagne made the difference. The ship was very nice and beautifully fitted out. The dining experience left us a bit disappointed. The food was excellent but the food was always just warm when it was presented which meant it was cold by the time you were halfway through it. We did return it on two occasions but in the end gave up as it was the same every meal. The staff were all very professional but over attentive.
We had our breakfast in the Terrace Cafe. The buffet was excellent but the staff were over attentive to the point it became irritating. There appear to be an over abundance of staff looking for something to do. We would get a glass of juice to put on our table. Straight away someone would come up and wanting to take your juice and take it to the table for you. The same with other dishes. If you said no to one waiter a few steps further another waiter would come and offer to carry your plate. This went on every meal. It got to the pointed where I wanted to shout, "I'm quite capable carrying my own plate". It was not as if either of us needed assistance.
We could never leave the table together to go to the buffet because when you returned you would find to table cleared and reset.
Excellent stateroom well appointed with a separate shower and bath. The only problem was that every morning the deck staff would set out the deck chairs by dragging them across the sundeck above. The noise penetrated the cabin and would prevent you from having a sleep in.
