First, let me start by saying that I would not have chosen this ship, except for the itinerary/timing and that this was a family vacation (traveled with sisters and brother-in-law). I read the reviews regarding status of this vessel.

I agree with the other reviews that embarkation was very smooth. I had read the wine policy and was pleasantly surprised in that corkage fee did not apply to the initial bottles brought on board at embarkation.

'll break this review into Itinerary, Cabin, Food, entertainment, Gym/spa, deck areas.

Cabins:The ship is older, and balcony cabins rather small. This can't be helped. Recent upgrades adding flat screen, and fridge were nice. Linens were always clean and cabin steward was awesome. My biggest complaints were mattress (they need to be replaced and upgraded. Holland America, Celebrity, Oceania, etc. all have better bedding), and the bathrooms need to be CLEANED. By cleaned I don't mean the daily cleaning. No issues with that service. They need to be properly cleaned/sealed to remove mold/stains that have built up over time.
