Cruise 09/14

We travelled from Britain to pick up this cruise, choosing San Juan embarkation to lose the day at sea each way out of Miami etc. The itinerary allows you to reach the deep Southern /Eastern Caribbean. We did 2 separate cruises back to back. However the trade off for a cruise out of San Juan is you will be bombarded with a lot of entertainment geared towards a latino audience.

Our flights took us via London Heathrow to JFK then onto Puerto Rico in one day. It was a smooth journey with quiet and easy airport connections - if somewhat a very long travel day. The cruise package included an overnight in San Juan at the Caribe Hilton. Nice spacious room. Breakfast in Las Palmeras hotel restaurant €55 for 2. Handy Quiznos Subs on site for snacks and soft drinks.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Cabin 9206 was clean and well located near the centrum, the Windjammer and pool. Balcony a good size with two chairs and a table, fixed dividers. Bed by the balcony, 3 seater sofa by the door. Warren from Nicaragua was a very friendly efficient cabin steward.
