Thia was our sixth cruise with Princess and we booked this cruise to celebrate my birthday and because of all the great locations..... we were not disappointed.

Both embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze. On our arrival to Venice, we were met at the airport by princess reps who took our luggage and sent us to the cruise terminal. We were the first group after elite passengers to board which gave us time to see the ship without a crowd. Also we were able to get back off the ship quickly and took the water shuttle provided by Princess at $29 each to Saint Mark's where we spent the afternoon.

The ship is beautiful with a few design issues....no midship stairs being the main one but even though we were midship, we had no trouble getting an elevator. We had trouble to begin with in getting the internet service to work but after a few trips to Internet cafe to get it fixed, the wifi worked great. Our balcony room was pleasant, bed was comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was larger than usual. The balcony was small but wasn't a problem for us as we were in port all but two days.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BV

While our balcony cabin had a partial obstruction, it was not a problem (except the Princess rep we booked through did not tell us it was an obstructed view). We did not spend much time there due to the great locations and could see even with the obstruction. The cabin was very neat and clean and the shower in the bathroom seemed larger than on past ships. The one down fall was there were only three plugs, two in the cabin and one in the bathroom. With several things to plug or charge, it in was a challenge at times.
