We went on Carnival Inspiration to celebrate our one year anniversary. We based which ship we went on from the reviews on cruise critic and we made the right choice. The crew was excellent and friendly and the ship was always clean. While it is an older ship, evident in the decor, the crew does make the best with what they have. The comedy shows were very good, better than we would have thought. We actually didn't get a chance to see the shows because we were so busy doing so many other events. The art auction was a great time, and a great way to get free alcohol. Only downsides to the cruise was the number of days and size of the ship. A 4-day cruise is great for a first time when you don't know how a cruise will be, but definitely wish we did longer. Also, since it is an older and smaller ship it was rocked by the seas depending on the weather. The rocking wasn't a big deal, however if you aren't used to it then it will be noticeable.

Signing up for Faster to the Fun was the best $50 we have ever spent. Walked right onto the boat when we got there and also walked immediately off the boat at the end. Didn't deal with any lines anywhere.

Pros:

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Balcony was the perfect size to be able to enjoy. Smaller balconies were just bigger then the furniture and would have been cramped. Choose an even number, starboard side, because you will be facing away from the dock in Long Beach and Ensenada, but you will be able to see Avalon when off the coast of Catalina.
