After a terrible Pacific cruise on Celebrity Century in March, I was very concerned about our Sept cruise on the Constellation but stayed with it due to the fabulous itinerary. I am delighted (and relieved) to say that everything that had been why we sailed with Celebrity was present on the Constellation--good food, great service, clean and well maintained ship and generally sophisticated atmosphere. We had sailed on Constellation previously and this trip was even better than the first due to much lower key sales efforts. The port "specialists" were typically poor with the focus on scaring passengers into taking only their excursions and directing folks to the stores that rebate back to the boat but that is standard practice so no real surprises there. We were elite passengers for the first time on this cruise and all the benefits were wonderful. Internet was miserably slow--worse than ever before. There are many more users now and no increase in capacity. We went through 180 minutes to send and receive at most 40 emails over a 14 day period--no web browsing at all. We're looking for an alternative for sure. All in all, it was a fabulous trip.
Very nice cabin on the Port side. Very convenient
