MSC Divina, Let me start by saying it is a beautiful ship! If this is your first time cruising and you have nothing to compare it to you will Love it. However we are seasoned cruisers and do have something to compare to. So here goes the most honest critique you will get. MSC doesn't allow you to brink any drinks or food on board at all or a bottle of wine like other cruise lines. They do not have self laundry service but will charge you a hefty price to do your laundry for you. They don't give you a chocolate on your pillow or do the towel buddies at night. Divina you cant get to the front of the ship outside as it is for MSC yacht club members only. All the extras you must pay for like Gelato, nutella wrap, mini bowling all have fees.No omelet making in the morning they don't have it. No ice cream machines 24/7 only 2-5 pm.

Now for the good. Ship is elegant roomy and simply gorgeous. Many pools, hot tubs indoor and out. Rooms are spacious and bathroom in room has glass shower doors instead of nasty curtain that floods. Buffet on ship is the best food we have had on a cruise ship even more desirable then sit down dinner. Pizza is true Italian Pizza of restaurant quality. Lots of pasta variety and grilled chicken cold cuts, fruit bar, ethnic food nightly, grill section for burgers and such. Salad bar is basic and not great. Ship is wide and walking paths are more spacious. Photos they do are 4 backgrounds nightly and they print them to 12x14 and 8x10.They do offer more promotions on pictures then other cruise lines like buy 2 get 1 free, buy 3 get 2 free , and buy 5 get 5 free, and allow you to change your promotion or add to it throughout the cruise. Not a 1 time thing. Promo runs all week.

Liquor on board is small variety but found cheaper then other lines. However they do not deliver to your stateroom and give it to you in plastic bags unlike others who do deliver in cardboard carry case. Hassle to come collect in small shop. Shops carry item like valentine, dkny, guess, armani unlike other ship lines. Shops are small and not a good selection of items. Embarkation was fast and they do provide water and juice beverages as you wait. Now the best part is the shows. The Greatest we have ever seen. They incorporate violinist , jugglers, hand balancing, acrobats, contortionist with awesome costumes and sets that are big money . Shows based on Alice in wonderland, Michael Jackson, Italian tribute, Frank Sinatra Tribute, Opera Tribute, and Pirates..Best you will ever see. So bottom line is ship, buffet, and shows awesome.
