First off... to the people who are writing reviews saying bad things about this ship or its service. REALLY?! What truly was not to like about this ship?
I'll try to give an unbiased opinion of this ship both pros and cons, of which there are few cons.
From the moment you embark on the MSC Divina you really will be in awe. Truly I mean that. Myself and my wife just returned from a 7 day cruise for our honeymoon. It was an amazing experience, and neither of us are new to cruising we've cruised with another cruise line before.
Our room was perfect, it is well designed, the bed is comfortable, pillows comfortable, climate control was excellent and quiet. Due to our proximity to the elevators there was a bit of noise from other guests however that did not bother us very much. MSC is smart in the use of the keycards for the rooms. There is a little slot next to the door, in order to have power in your room you must put the keycard in the slot. This serves many purposes, one you cant forget it when you leave the room, and it also turns a little light on outside your door to let your cabin attendant know that your IN the room so he doesn't disturb you. Its actually a smart system. The cabin attendant was always friendly and courteous to us. Our room was always spotless, cleaned, and he made us feel welcome every time we saw him. MSC discourages tipping them directly, but I did on the last day I gave him a bit more. He works hard to keep those rooms clean, be good to your staff, they deserve it.
