SInce so much has been written about Freedom, I'll just write how this cruise differed from our expectations. My wife and I have cruised 30+ times but never on a ship as large as this. We expected it to be crowded and the food and entertainment to be mediocre. We knew there would be lots to do. Well...it was not crowded at all!! (Unless you wanted to get into the pool on sea days.) The people and staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The food was as we expected except in the specialty restaurants (we ate at both and enjoyed them thoroughly.) My Time dining worked out very well for us. Just make sure you make your reservations in advance. The only show we went to was Freedom Ice.com. IT WAS AMAZING!! We have been to major ice shows on land and this was every bit as entertaining. It is absolutely a "do not miss!"

We had been to all of the ports many times except Falmouth, Jamaica which was another pleasant surprise. Lots to see and do within walking distance of the ship.

This was a great cruise. We still prefer the smaller ships but would still do this one again.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Handicap Accessible cabin. Nice and large, easy for WC to get around. Balcony also large and could easily accommodate the WC. The only down side was that we expected an automatic door opener that RCI uses on some of their other ships. Would have liked to see that. Bathroom was good but the fold down "bench" was only 12 inches square - no kidding, we measured. So we used a chair off the balcony in the shower.
