Since Viking Sky had only 2 more cruises after ours, this will serve more as a review of Viking than of the Sky. The Sky itself was fine although it lacks the bells and whistles of the new longboats.
The food was fantastic, certainly comparable to our experience with Celebrity. And the wine was definitely free flowing. We generally got a final refill at the end of dinner to take to the lounge.
The tours were very well done. All of our local guides were excellent and the radio things worked well. We chose the "leisurely" group and it usually had from 6 to 12 people. None of us was disabled, just a few canes and creaky knees, and we saw almost everything the other groups did at a more leisurely pace with more chances to sit while listening to the guides. In 1 town our group did not climb to see a rose garden but instead walked on level ground and saw another beautiful bridge and surrounding area.
Small, but as expected. Not comparable to our ocean cruises on Celebrity. But served the purpose. The bathroom was fine, nice toiletries and large towels.
